Amber Portwood who was recently released from prison and is now clean and sober is revealing that in her opinion Jenelle Evans is making all the wrong decisions. In a recent interview with InTouch Amber says “You have one child you need to think about before you have another.” It also looks like Amber isn’t completely convinced that Jenelle has recovered from her addictions. “It’s not like you can wake up one day and be like ‘Hey, I’m clean.”
After her life changing time spent behind bars Amber feels that Jenelle could benefit from being locked up in prison. She said, “As scary as it seems, it would change her life for the better… She went down the exact path I did: unplanned pregnancy, addiction and bad relationships, having custody taken away… But it’s never too late for Jenelle to turn her life around.”
Update: Jenelle Evans responded to Amber’s words via twitter where she says: “Amber Portwood… I never judged u or said one negative thing since u have been out of jail… Why start with me? Can’t be happy I suppose..” Adding later: “I love how it look towards more of the positive side of things, yet ex teen moms want to try to bring me down. It’s sad, focus on yourself.“

I agree completely with Amber. It was already reported that Jenelle has been smoking pot while pregnant and she admitted only a few months ago to still having problems with addiction and alcohol. It’s also known that she smokes cigarette’s which I consider to be child abuse when pregnant. Nothing irks me more than seeing a pregnant woman puffing away on a cigarette. She had too many vices to consider bringing another child into the world, the child is the one going to end up suffering.
Smoking green and smoking ciggs are two different things. When you are pregnant there are no negative side effects to smoking green while you are pregnant. I actually believe she is making strides for the better because of how much she loves Nathan and i believe she is ready to become the mother she always wanted to be for Jace. Also, why the hell do we as a society get so wrapped up in these girls lives. That is why they make so much money and continue to indulge in their unhealthy habits. It kills me to see people getting so worked up over a kids who obviously aren’t in serious harms way because MTV producers/ crew obviously would step in if there was real danger.

Agreed!!! There is NO DIFFERENCE between smoking weed and smoking cigs while pregnant. It’s also been proven that smoking weed is worse for your lungs – so less air for the mom to breathe = much less clean air for the baby.

I smoked cigs when I was pregnant with my daughter it was like 2 cigs a day it is VERY HARD to quit smoking no matter what your smoking. Jenelle is doing pretty great!
Sorry to have to tell you this, but as I was in my 3rd pregnancy, I tried to quit smoking cigarette’s and it caused me to go into pre term labor, so my doctor told me to go back to smoking. I know that you have your option, but before you start bashing on someone do some research before you assume. Some ppl don’t have a choice if they want to keep their child.

She needs to be locked up so she can see that her life is not where it should be, and there are still too many changes to be made before she brings another life into this world.

Anyone in their right mind would agree with Amber, and they should get Janelle off the show. I think in the end it would benefit her and she can start living her new life hopefully clean and happy. I don’t think all this attention does her any good..

If you supposedly had the ‘worst anger problems” anyone had ever seen, then you could of gotten locked up just like Amber did.
I didnt see Amber being mean or anything, I just see her being concerned with the decisions that jenelle is making… She didnt say anything bad. But honestly, she is right. Jenelle lost custody of her first kid, she should be focusing on making herself well and getting her first kid back, not just having another kid and claiming to be cured.
I can guarantee that she is not cured. She hasnt attended any sort of treatment. I would almost bet you money that there will be more trouble down the road.
Some of you have said she lost custody of her son maybe you should look up that episode cuz she didn’t lose custody of him she chose to sign custody over to her mom cuz she knew she could not take care of him at that time.
Well sort of. She signed over custody because she knew she would lose him if they went to court over it. She didn’t want to deal with going through a custody battle so she signed over custody.
So you are saying that if a person attends treatment, then and ONLY then will they be cured… I just laughed so hard after re reading that!!! That is the most ignorant and un-knowledgable statement I have heard in a very long time… Don’t you know that rehab has a revolving door?? Guess what?? Jail does too!! In fact, someone who has been incarcerated in a state prison (not a few days in County) has over a 50% chance of coming back within the year they are released? Treatment programs will tell you straight from the rip that 1 out of every 11 addicts will recover. That doesn’t speak much of treatment programs.
Now I will make a “guarantee”. You will NOT put your money where your mouth is.. I would & I’d put it on Janelle being just fine.

In fact I think she put it quite nicely, jenelle has not changed, I’m an addict in recovery my son is ten years old and he was never taken from me, yea I did I overnight stay in jail that’s now off my record. Jenelle has been arrested 13 times!!!! Real cute for a mother, she takes no steps for her recovery, she didn’t go to NA those tags were bullshit, when u get addicted to any drug but ESP opiates(heroin, pain killers) I know all about it cuz that was my addiction. U don’t just get clean and detox at home and ur all better, u have cravings, times u want to use so bad, y do u think jenelle always has a pain problem or at the doctors ? Root canal, blockage in her intestine and I know there was more! She jumps from man to man and she aborted a child, her husbands child just weeks before getting pregnant by her boyfriend, that’s some jerry springer shit! If Nate and jenelle really loved eachother and jace as much as they claim, they could have waited until jenelle was divorced and tried together to get some kind of custody of their kids! Jenelle if she just stopped thinking of herself and focused on school and jace and not getting high, she could prob have jace back by now, she SHOULD have jace back by now, and then maybe Nate could get more then a supervised visit once a month with emery! Y is that not important enough to them, then they could get married and have a baby, that’s how it should b done, if she had really changed, as for amber saying she wanted to use, that’s what happens in reality danielle, addicts get cravings and triggers at least she talked about it and didn’t keep it bottled up, that’s the problem u know nothing of addiction and recovery! I think jenelle needs to think about her son before she has another baby. Her mom took on her responsabilitiy of taking care of her grandson. While she went n done her own thing. Her son went without a mom for most his first yr. I don’t understand why she doesn’t get custody of Jase before she has another baby. I think that Amber knows what she is talking about, but I also believe that this may be a second chance for Jenelle. I had a son at 17 and still relied on my family alot for help with him. Then two years later I stupidly got pregnant again, and bringing another baby into my life made me do a complete 360, and made me realize how wrong, young, and stupid I was for missing out a lot on part of first sons life. So I’m,hoping that Jenelle will realize the error of her ways too. Maybe this is God giving her a second chance!
