‘Teen Mom’ star Catelynn Lowell, who is currently about 5 months pregnant with a baby girl, recently opened up to In Touch about her struggles with depression.
The reality TV star says that a year ago she “didn’t want to live another day.” She tells the magazine that she suffered “severe panic and anxiety attacks in the middle of the night,” which lead to overwhelming depression. “I couldn’t stop crying. I felt I’d be better off dead. I needed help.” Catelynn’s fiance Tyler Baltierra recognized Cate’s signs of depression and made her first doctor’s appointment.
Now that Catelynn has gotten the help she needed she’s feeling much better. “I’ve been taking my meds and talking to someone regularly, and it’s gotten easier,” she says. Which is great because she’s now able to enjoy her pregnancy and preparing for the new baby. (PS: Don’t worry, Catelynn has discussed with her doctor and has stopped taking any harmful medications until she is done with her pregnancy.)
