Teen Mom 2’s Jade Cline Looking Unrecognizable After Cosmetic Surgery

‘Teen Mom 2’ star Jade Cline went under the knife in early 2021 to “enhance” her features by flying to Miami and getting a “Brazilian Butt Lift.” A BBL is a procedure in which a surgeon transfers excess fat from unwanted areas of the body (such as the hips, abdomen, lower back, or thighs) to the buttocks, strategically injecting the fat to increase it’s size and change it’s shape. Jade took to her Instagram to keep fans updated on the process and her recovery.

In a Q & A session she revealed that the surgery took some “unexpected turns” and that the pain was worse than she anticipated. “Some crazy stuff happened, MTV documented all of it so you guys soon will see the journey. It’s definitely going to surprise everyone. I’ll also talk about it on my podcast.“

She goes on to say that it was the “most painful thing I’ve ever done in my life. 10 times worse than child birth. Everyone is different but I know that y body definitely had a hard time recovering… You have to be strong as hell to get through something like this. I didn’t realize how hard recovery was going to be. I feel silly now because I honestly thought it was gonna be so much easier. I went with a very natural look. I wasn’t trying to do anything too crazy. I just wanted to complement my natural body shape and enhance a few of my features.“

Jade’s also clarified that her intention was never to lose weight. “I was just trying to distribute it differently throughout my body. It takes months for the swelling and fluid to subside. This isn’t a overnight surgery. You do wake up looking different but your body constantly changes and it takes a very long time for it to actually get to where it should be.“

Shortly after surgery Jade started sharing photos of her new body. “10 days post-op. Still have a lot of [bruising] and swelling. I have a lot of healing to do, but I’m loving how I’m looking so far.” Jade gave thanks to her surgeon Dr. Oliver Chang of Spectrum Aesthetics, who seemingly specializes in BBL surgeries.

Jade did not see Dr. Miami for her procedure like her ‘Teen Mom 2’ co-stars Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry who both had the same cosmetic surgeries in the past. They both allowed their surgeon to document the procedures via Snap Chat. Briana has stated on the show that her surgery was free and she ultimately ended up having to have a second procedure when she became unhappy with her backside and breasts being too big.
