Farrah Abraham & YouTuber Gabbie Hanna Announce Podcast About Mental Health

Former ‘Teen Mom’ star Farrah Abrham has teamed up with the controversial YouTuber turned musical artist Gabbie Hannah for a new podcast all about exploring their personal struggles with mental health.

We cannot wait to share this with you!” says Farrah in a video announcement she uploaded to YouTube in early January, 2022. Gabbie sitting alongside Farrah smiled with enthusiasm as the two discussed what the podcast show would be about. “I wanted to bring Gabbie and I together because I just felt… I love when people talk about mental health and like what they’re going through and the effects of our society on us and I think Gabbie’s done such a great job of that.

Before too much of the hate starts rolling in, keep in mind that this isn’t necessarily a podcast for advice or medical information. It’s simply these two women who both are no strangers to public scrutiny and cancel culture trying to figure out their own issues and relating to each other about it. (And I just can’t discourage anyone from exploring their mental health and trying to be better.)

The video description reads, “Happy 2022 ! Setting our new year intentions strong! It has been important for fellow friend Gabbie Hanna & I (Farrah Abraham) to learn more about our own mental health, assessments and support and share! Look forward to posting a new ‘MENTAL’ podcast chat each second Monday of the month for 2022!

Leave comments, resource links, fun new chat topics, share a blessing of your findings below to help others! Note we believe disabilities can be your superpowers and we look forward to empowering and uplifting those struggling with disabilities so we all can achieve mental health happiness.”

The video starts with Farrah explaining a bit about the podcast and why she wanted to work with Gabbie. “I wanted to bring Gabbie and I together because I just felt… I love when people talk about mental health and like what they’re going through and the effects of our society on us and I think Gabbie’s done such a great job of that.

Things take a typical ‘Farrah’ turn when she quickly gets up to inform a random guy just outside the door that they are filming and can hear his phone conversation. Gabbie laughed in amazement and when Farrah returned, she stated, “People like to say that’s me being difficult like, Farrah is being so difficult and you know, I was fired for being ‘difficult’ and publicly.” Gabbie then asked, “From MTV?

Yeah it was awful! At that time in my life, because I was so busy trying to figure out what the world was that I didn’t even understand what my disability was and I was like ‘I’m not difficult, I’m trying to figure out my life and I’m in my twenties and like I am a teen mom.’ There’s so much busy about our world that we don’t take the time to talk about us and think about us and learn us and I always say like my biggest thing in my life and I know all of us would agree with this is investing in ourselves.”

Gabbie agreed that she too has been labeled as difficult but that her ADHD was what contributed to her “bad” behavior in professional settings in the past. “I’ve been difficult myself but i think the reason why this is so important to me is because when I, I’ve always known I have ADHD but I didn’t understand exactly what it was… there’s so little information actually about it and as somebody who’s always known that I have it, I had no idea how much it was actually affecting my life.”

Farrah goes on to talk about how hard she has been working in therapy over the years and that a lot of it is because of being fired from MTV. “I have present time trauma really bad from being wrongfully fired publicly and it’s something that my therapists and everyone have been working so hard on me over these last years. So, I am super proud of Gabbie and I coming together.

Gabbie thinks that this podcast could very well change the way some people feel about Farrah Abraham. “I‘m so excited for myself personally and for everybody else to get to know the real Farrah. Because I feel like I’ve seen it through the TV, and I just feel like she’s one of the most like misunderstood people of all time.
