‘Teen Mom OG’ star Mackenzie McKee was noticeably missing from the MTV spin-off show ‘Teen Mom Family Reunion’ that aired its first season in early 2022. She was the only cast member who is currently being featured on a ‘Teen Mom’ show to not even be invited. Some cast members declined to be a part of the spin-off, like Kailyn Lowry of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ but Mack wasn’t even asked. In fact, she’s come forward to say that she was lied to by MTV about who was going to be on the show.

Mackenzie recently told The Sun that she can’t understand why she was snubbed. “They told me it was a few select people from each show and that it had nothing to do with one being left out, which is not true.“

‘Teen Mom Family Reunion’ was all about the cast hashing out their differences, getting to know each other better and healing from some of their own personal issues and traumas. The cast got to work with a life coach and participate in therapeutic activities with their fellow castmates. “I don’t understand,” Mackenzie said. “This show was about people who have problems with each other and people who need therapy, and I’m the one who had a dead mom… MTV tries to cover a girls’ storyline about mental health, but they really don’t care about you.“
Mackenzie says she has no ill feelings towards the other moms in the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise and her being upset with MTV has nothing to do with them at all. “It’s the lies I’m upset about. It’s not being a part of the group that I’m upset about, which is why I’ve kept my mouth shut because I don’t want people to be like, ‘Oh, she’s just jealous.’“

Mackenzie also insists that she is doing just fine without MTV right now. She has a successful fitness business that she built after ‘Teen Mom 3’ was canceled, the show she was originally cast in. She revealed that she has yet to be asked to return for the next season of ‘Teen Mom OG’ and she’s not sure if she even should at this point.
