Chelsea & Cole DeBoer $3M Lawsuit Heading to Trial | ‘Farmhouse Fabulous’ Couple Being Sued

Stars of the upcoming HGTV show ‘Farmhouse Fabulous’ Chelsea and Cole DeBoer are being sued by the consulting company Envy for three million dollars. The former ‘Teen Mom 2’ couple partnered with Envy to help them negotiate appearances, endorsements, licensing, royalties and television agreements from 2015 through 2019.

According to court papers the company claimed that Chelsea and Cole “failed to pay any of the contractually required fees.” Envy also claims the couple “breached their contracts by directing certain Brands to directly pay Houska, DeBoer, one of the other Shared Clients, and/or other persons or entities to avoid paying Envy Licensing Fees.

Chelsea and Cole have denied this and say that Envy withheld $150,000 worth of payments owed to them. They also say that the company was unprofessional and disrespectful in their behavior toward the two. The couple claimed that Envy “actually harmed the professional careers of Defendants Chelsea and Cole by withholding considerable payments from them and acting in an unprofessional manner, including but not limited to, arguing with and acting disrespectfully toward Chelsea and Cole, potential and then-existing licensing contacts, and other professional contacts of Chelsea and Cole.

Both parties attempted to work things out in mediation but were unable to come to a resolution which means the lawsuit will have to go to trial.
