Catelynn Baltierra (Lowell) Gives Details of Daughters Carly and Nova’s First Meeting!!

Did you know that Carly and Nova met before ‘Teen Mom OG’ stars Catelynn and Tyler’s wedding took place? (In case you missed it, yes Carly was at the wedding and Tyler had a special dance with her! Check that out here.)

Catelynn actually got together with Theresa and Carly 2 days before the wedding so that the sisters could meet! “We went to the beach so we were feeding ducks with bread,” Catelynn recently told People Magazine. “Carly just wanted to hold Nova immediately and be like, ‘Can I feed her? Can I hold her?’ She kept showing Nova to everybody and saying, ‘This is my birth sister.’ It was so cute!”

On the ‘Teen Mom OG’ trailer we can see that Catelynn battled some serious postpartum depression but says “After that day, I felt perfectly fine again.“

About the relationship she has with Brandon and Theresa Catelynn says, “As long as I get to see her face and hear her voice, hey – I’m sad that I can’t share everything, but our story’s still out there… and people are still learning about adoption, and you guys get some time to see her, and I get to see her, so it kind of works for both of us.“

Carly was also a big part of Catelynn and Tyler’s wedding soon after this meeting, Cate recalled a special moment she had while getting ready for the ceremony. “I was sitting in the room and Teresa came in there, just by herself, and she said a few things to me.. [Carly and her parents] got to see me before anybody else, so that was definitely a special moment.“

This was a big questions from fans! Did Brandon, Teresa and Carly attend Catelynn and Tyler’s wedding!?? Personally I wasn’t sure that they would bring Carly around ALL of Cate & Ty’s family AND MTV cameras but thankfully they were able to make it to the wedding and look to have had quite a tearful reunion!

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup Tyler and Carly had a special dance together while Catlynn danced along side them with their daughter Novalee.

Catelynn Lowell Talks About Carly and Novalee Meeting and Their Future Relationship

‘Teen Mom’ stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are ecstatic to finally be parenting a baby of their own after placing their first daughter Carly up for adoption 6 years ago. Novalee is now about 3 months old and the couple know that they want her and Carly to be in each other’s lives.

“We talked to Brandon and Teresa and eventually they’re going to meet,” Catelynn tells WetPaint. “And [Carly] knows that I had a baby and that her name is Nova. You know, we don’t go as far as saying, ‘This is your sister,’ or anything like that. Like, she knows her as Nova, just like we’re Tyler and Catelynn… One day [Carly] will meet Nova whether it be a visit or a Reunion show. I look forward to that.”

Catelynn and Tyler want Novalee to know exactly who Carly is. “Nova’s gonna know everything about Carly, and what we did and everything… That’s why I put a picture of me, Tyler and her in her nursery.”

Carly’s Adoptive Parents Reportedly Threaten to Cut Contact with Catelynn & Tyler

UPDATE: Catelynn and Tyler have responded to the reports of Brandon and Teresa threatening to cut contact with them. THANKFULLY the couple are not planning to cut contact with them at this time. We will see the couple struggle with Catelynn and Tyler about posting photos to social media in the new season of Teen Mom OG!

Original Story: In the upcoming season of ‘Teen Mom OG’ we will see the current struggle between Catelynn, Tyler and Carly’s adoptive parents Brandon and Teresa. The ‘Teen Mom’ stars want to be able to share their experiences, memories, and photos of Carly with the world but are limited by Brandon and Teresa by what they are allowed to post on social media.

According to a source that spoke with InTouch Brandon and Teresa are now threatening to cut off communication with Catelynn and Tyler due to their refusal to follow the adoption rules. “They’re not happy with Catelynn and Tyler’s behavior… They’re getting more concerned about Carly being in the public eye as she gets older. The relationship is really strained.”

Catelynn and Tyler have finally shared photos of their 3 month old daughter Novalee Reign. While Nova can’t replace Catelynn and Tyler’s love for Carly hopefully now it will be easier to keep photos of Carly private since they can freely share photos of their baby Novalee.
